Vacation to Myrtle Beach 3/17/2012 Day # 8

We got up and I cooked up some bacon. We had bacon sandwiches and oj. We got ready and went to the car show. We got to park for $5.00 and had to walk a little ways. I could not believe the people or the cars. These people sure put some money into these cars. We walked and walked and took pictures. We had a real good time. Here are some of the cars. I took hundreds of pictures but will only be able to post so many. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

After the car show we went and got some lunch at Hardee's then came back to the room and Dan took a nap and I got on the computer for awhile. When he woke up we went down and got in the hot tub and chatted with a nice couple from Columbia, SC. We were in the hot tub for about a half hour and then went in the pool and laid out in the sun. We walked the beach for a bit and then came back up to the room and just lounged around for awhile. After all isn't that what vacations are for? We went out in search of somewhere new to eat and found it. A little bbq place that had pulled pork, chicken, ribs a bunch of different sides. I had 1/4 white meat chicken with two sides, I chose onion rings and brunswick stew. The stew consists of shredded pork, shredded chicken and mixed vegetables in a broth. It was excellant. Dand had two pulled pork sandwiches, and the piled the pork on and he had french fries. It was very good. We stopped to get milk on or way back home. The cashiers are great here, they scan their discount cards for us everytime we go into the food lion store. We came back and took showers and just sat around and relaxed the rest of the night. We were going to go down to the hot tub but it was full of kids, the pool also. So we just sat in the room and relaxed. End of day#8 Day #9 to follow.
